Your Perfect Footwear Foundation celebrates student's academic achievements by providing a new pair of athletic shoes to the underserved youth to empower socialization, academics, and self-development.
We provide a unique experience at a retail shoe store where the deserving student will personally pick out their "Perfect Footwear".

The Perfect Fit
Helping underserved students, K-12,
this initiative aims to foster self-confidence and personal expression among these students.
By giving them the dignity of choice and the pride of new footwear, this initiative empowers youth, enhances their physical comfort, and increases their enthusiasm for learning.
After-School Tutoring
Academic-focused initiative designed to encourage students to excel in their studies. Providing support, resources, and rewards for academic achievement, this program motivates students to strive for good grades.
Project Edwards
Partnered with Edward Elementary.
By recognizing their hard work, Project Edwards encourages students to continue striving for excellence in both academics and personal development. Rewarding students with brand-new, high-quality shoes, promoting confidence, comfort, and pride in their achievements.
Footwear For Your Future
Supporting young adults, ages 16-21, who have faced homelessness by engaging them in leadership and growth opportunities.

Your Perfect Footwear Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that celebrates students' achievements by providing new sneakers to underserved youth. Founded by Janea Sizemore, this organization is inspired by her own journey of resilience, ambition, and a deep commitment to empowering others.
Growing up in a single-parent household in the South, Janea faced challenges that could have held her back. As a young Black woman, she experienced firsthand the limitations of her circumstances but was determined to break through them. Graduating high school at just 16, she went on to earn two college degrees, all while holding onto her humble beginnings. For Janea, something as simple as a new pair of shoes was once a luxury—now, she’s working to ensure today’s youth don’t have to feel the same limitations.
With Your Perfect Footwear Foundation, Janea provides more than just footwear. Every pair of shoes represents confidence, pride, and the belief that all children deserve a strong start. Monthly events allow students to select their "perfect footwear" alongside their families in a retail setting, offering an experience that instills a sense of self-worth and achievement. Through these interactions, the foundation fosters a positive mindset, empowering students to reach their full potential.
